Horse Program
We are mostly in the planning stages as yet but there are a few things that we do know.
We love horses, we love to work with horses and we want them to be good.
Jo-Anna, Callie and Andrea all have horses that they are riding. Jo has a 6 yr old paint mare that is 16.1 hh and a great mover. Belle is quiet and really likes people. If you talk nice this mare might be for sale. If you are looking for a big mover give us a call.
Callie is riding Jackie. She is a registered QH mare that she bought last summer She is very well broke. We think she is a good match for Callie because so far everything Callie asks of her gets done. She is definitely a little firecracker and Callie loves her. Callie has her eyes on an English saddle and some jumps. Good luck Jackie, you may need to grow some legs. Callie's motto is ''A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!" And of course she does!
Andrea is riding Bubbles. Her and Andrea are getting along great. Bubbles is wise and very careful. She is also smart enough to only do as much as she has to. No sense putting too much effort out if you don't have to!!!
Up and Coming
The yearling pen is an interesting mix.
We have a solid black QH filly named "Zoey" that is very quiet and sweet. She has a gorgeous head and huge soft eye. She is looking like she will be a very refined taller type mare. I guess time will tell as she grows. She belongs to Diane. Will she be the English horse Diane has been looking for?
"JC" is another little sweet heart. She is a bay QH filly with a white strip on her face. Her mom is Bubbles so we are hoping she will have the same temperament. She belongs to Andrea. They will grow and learn together. Right now they are both happy just getting the brushes out for a good rub down.
"Bailey" adds another color to the mix. She is a red dun QH filly. Jennine owns her and plans to start her a little bit as a 2 year old and see if the two of them can agree that Bailey should be a western horse. A little cattle work, a little trail riding, and maybe even babies in the future should make her an all round good horse.
"Chevy" is the boy of the bunch. He is starting to think he is pretty important. Jo-Anna is hoping to keep him as a stallion prospect and cross him with some smaller type mares in the hopes of making kids horses. He has a real nice disposition so far and has great conformation. The girls think he has great legs too!
We hope to have our horse program going by this summer so keep us in mind and check back here once in a while. We will try and keep this updated. We will get some pictures up soon.
